Im Outta Love Miley and Selena should be higher both!
Was a week at #1 not enough
Oh Johnny Ruffo. This Aussie has his comeback back to the top spot. This is his third consecutive #1 Single (His previous 2 singles On Top and Take It Home placed #1 4 weeks and 2 weeks respectively). I also don’t really realize sometimes how much I rotate Will Young songs I mean this week alone, “Hopes & Fears” at #2, “Hearts On Fire” at #4, “Switch It On” at #9, “I Get The Sweetest Feeling” at #10, “Believe” at #14, “Friday’s Child” at #22, a new debut of “Runaway” at #25, it’s a reality I have not exactly noticed. I just notice which songs I listen to more each week, and his songs keep popping up. Only particular one however.
The Reason I rotate particular Will Young Songs
I make monthly CD’s for my drives in my car, and I typically fill that thing with 20-22 different songs. Now to start off I have all of his songs released thus far. I however have selective listening to certain songs. For example “Believe” the B-Side for “Losing Myself” came out in 2012, however I was rotating Losing Myself amongst other songs at the time by him. Upon going though my collection to look for another Will Young song, I picked up Believe and had it on repeat over and over. With this, that leads it to being added to my monthly CD’s, hence some songs getting high positions now. As for why so many Will Young songs, for me Will Young’s songs have a longevity over most of the other songs on my chart in its simpliest
Going back to the countdown, 5 song re-enter/enter the top 10. Firstly Samantha Jade makes an incredible debut at #3 onto my chart. Its song was like candy, I just wanted to play it more and more  . The other songs consecutively come from 7-10. “We Can‘t Stop“ just keeps getting rotation anyway (and achieving a second re-surgence). Macklemore & Ryan Lewis achieve their first top 10 single with “Can’t Hold Us” . Of course already mentioned, “Switch It On“ and “I Get The Sweetest Feeling” debut at #9 and #10 respectively. To be fair idk if “Switch It On” Will be an ultimate smash hit. I wonder if its due to many Will songs are competing against each other at this moment? All well .
Just to say about this chart, the number of songs on rotation have somewhat decreased overall. When I was working on my parents house this weekend, painting the house baseboards, sanding, staining, and shining our front door, My dad had rotation The Carpenters and The Phantom of The Opera (Movie Soundtrack). While at first it was cute, after hearing the theme song about 30 times in a row I was OVER IT!!!!!!!!! I mean it was just annoying after a while. I couldn’t appreciate it after that # of times

The #1 is a mixed bag. The music sounds so good, but his voice mix with the sound and the ordeal target audience of the song doesn’t fit my style and get turn off for the most part. But its alright so nice job at #1. The Will Young explanation is needed and it made things clear so I should check more of his songs soon. Great that Blurred Lines(which I am listening to now) is a former #1.
Can’t Hold Us in the top 10 is excellent. Great to see songs like Safe and Sound, Red, Crash My Party, Treasure on here. Nice Chris Brown debut. Nice that #Beautiful is back. Rounding the good chart is Radioactive, Thrift Shop, Same Love, & Holy Grail.
We Can't Stop, Ooh La La and Beautiful are my favorites You should make a rule like I have that only allows like 3 songs by the same artist coughwillsyoyougyoungsagsfdg I love how you always have a random new rap song in the #35-#40 range
