9, she's looking great now, back in the 09, 10, 11 she was a mess, but it was artistic and creative, people shouldn't take Gaga's fashion too seriously, it's avant-gard....

Let's not pretend like Gaga's fashion is conventional, because it's not. She's often mocked for her choices and that's okay because it's almost natural for people to mock what is not considered normal or is out of the box. Gaga doesn't dress to look good all the time, she dresses to be a walking art piece so I judge her style based on that. For the most part, she delivers a story flawlessly (see Gaga every day in Australia during the Born This Way Ball). However, there are times where the make-up and hair take away from the look (see any creepy gaga look), which is why I cannot give her a perfect score myself.
Whether you understand her style or not, it's obvious that not everyone gets it. She got the most 10's but a lot of people gave her low scores bringing her overall average down. Hopefully with the ARTPOP era looming in, we will see a change from her usual over-the-top looks to more chic and effortless looks.
