One of my favorite poems ....hope you like

The Cold Within

Six humans trapped by happenstance
In dark and bitter cold
Each possessed a stick of wood--
Or so the story's told.

Their dying fire in need of logs,
But the first one held hers back,
For, of the faces around the fire,
She noticed one was black.

The next one looked cross the way
Saw one not of his church,
And could not bring himself to give
The fire his stick of birch.

The third one sat in tattered clothes
He gave his coat a hitch,
Why should his log be put to use
To warm the idle rich?

The rich man just sat back and thought
Of wealth he had in store,
And keeping all that he had earned
From the lazy, shiftless poor.

The black man's face bespoke revenge
As the fire passed from his sight,
For he saw in his stick of wood
A chance to spite the white.

And the last man of this forlorn group
Did nought except for gain,
Giving just to those who gave
Was how he played the game,

Their sticks held tight in death's stilled hands
Was proof enough of sin;
They did not die from cold without--
They died from cold within.

Okay, first of all, I'd like to say, she should've known better than to post something like that. Celebrities should keep their views on politics to themselves, especially because stuff like this happens.

Second of all, it should NOT matter what she supports. The way she expressed her opinion was innocent, even if it is someone who is apperently looked down upon by many of her fans. It was innocent, and she also clarified her views when she apologized. The "fans" who are now turning against her for what she said, are obviously not mature enough to handle someone having an opinion different from theirs. They are the ones being intolerant here. Kelly does not deserve this, even if she did open up a can of worms. She can support what or who she wants, but in the future, she should think it through first.

I strongly hope she will get through this controversy.

Kelly isn't even taking a gigantic stance on any type of issue. She'll be fine. It's not even like she was selling a shitload of records anyway.

The Dixie Chicks aren't lesbians. And the only reason they did get the back lash they got was because of them being in the UK at the time of insulting G.W.B.
