And this is the tea. It wasn't hard to effortlessly snatch Rihanna's "it girl" status seeing as how Gaga possesses everything Rihanna greatly lacks as an overall artist, the masses use Ms. Fenty for her fun & catchy pop songs and not much more than that.

If they are going to judge whether or not Beyonce is "on top" anymore they should at least wait until an era where she is not pregnant.

And concerning sales, of course the decline is gonna seem bigger for artists who release every 2-3 years as opposed to artists who releases every year.

Exactly

I can understand if she was going all out this era. She did a good amount of promo for RTW at the start of the era and it worked and the song stabilized after that for awhile, but after that she got further into her pregnancy and just stopped caring and started throwing out singles everywhere while releasing 8 zillion videos that were left for dead.

At least wait til sis is at the TOP of her game to say she is fading and over with. As for Britney she did like 2 performances for the album and went straight to her tour.

Right. The minute "Just Dance" hit big, I knew Gaga was going to be the one to punch Rihanna ALL the way down. They're two somewhat similar artists, in terms of their overall "shtick" if you will, and history has shown that the more talented one will always prevail. That does not mean they can not coexist, but the public will make it clear who they prefer.

RIhanna is the biggest pop star world wide #1 all over the planet. WHile girls come and go rihanna has kept her "it" girl status. SHe might be a singles artist but at-least her singles sale. But how can you say they're declining based on sales? I hope you see the flaw in your logic if you're using sales as the determining factor of "descending down" (which is a double negative as "descending" already implies a downward motion).
