I hope Interscope sends her first single for adds asap.
They still haven't set an adds date for Pia's single.
I'm starting to think they're using "This Time" as a buzz single. Hopefully they WONT do the same with Haley's release. Unless they feel it's a smart idea?
You might think you know everything there is to know about Haley Reinhart, the 20- year-old singer who captured the nation's imagination when she competed on the tenth season of "American Idol," but there is still a lot to tell about how she came to be who she is today and where she is going in the future.
Haley's story starts in 1990 when she was born on September 9th to Patti Miller-Reinhart and Harry Reinhart. With both of her parents being musicians, she began singing when she was just 8 years old and started to perform with her parent's band, MIDNIGHT. Haley was influenced by MIDNIGHTS rock cover songs from the '60's and '70's and took to loving that genre of music.
Continuing her study and love of music, Reinhart attended Harper College in Palatine Illinois studying jazz after graduating high school in 2009. That same year, she performed at the Monteux Jazz festival in Switzerland and with her colleges Jazz Ensemble and the Jazz Lab.
Haley then decided to take her talents to the small screen by first auditioning for American Idol during the ninth season, but did not get advanced to the Hollywood round. Not ready to give up, she returned for the tenth season auditions and this time, she made it through Hollywood and into the Top 10 advancing to the top 3.
Finishing the American Idol season in third place, Haley earned praise from Robert Plant, Lady Gaga, Jimmy Page, Adam Lambert, Tom Hanks and Ellen DeGeneres. She is the only contestant from season 10 that has over one million views on four of her YouTube performance videos. One being her rendition of Adele's ROLLING IN THE DEEP, Elton Johns BENNIE AND THE JETS and Ben E. Kings I WHO HAVE NOTHING.
Currently on the AMERICAN IDOLS Live tour, Haley is still showcasing her jaw dropping vocals and sexy sass appeal to the audience. As of July 26th, it was announced that Haley has been signed to 19 Recordings/Interscope records. No expected release until early 2012, Haley mentioned that she's always "dreamed of getting this kind of recognition. I am very thankful to 19 and Interscope for giving me this opportunity to create my own music".
With TV fame, a record deal, audience praise and a tour under her belt, Reinhart's future career will no doubt be a smashing success and worth the wait.
