I don't believe it. Obviously, there are a lot of people interested because of its placement in iTunes, but I have heard no one speak of that album elsewhere.
In fact, this is the only place I ever hear about it.
But who knows, we shall see when the receipts come.

4 Lady GaGa - Born This Way 52.068
5 Chris Brown - Look At Me Now (feat. Lil Wayne & Bu... 49.350
Combining versions probably puts LAMN into #4

There's no way Chris could have done that first day.
If so Jennifer Hudson did similarly, because I went to both Best Buy & Target in the city and they were both sold out and Jennifer Hudson is #2 on Amazon, and Chris is #1 on iTunes.

I'm going to assume you heard the same amount of no one speaking about the album prior to it being released on I-Tunes. If the amount of people you heard speak about it was relevant or meant anything I'm sure he wouldn't be at #1 on I-Tunes right now. Unless people randomly stopped discussing the album at 12 am last night...
Not saying that I believe those numbers either, just saying that your reasoning is a crock of ****.

Maybe its 250K Worldwide instead. That seems more logical.

I'm saying that I have not heard people in public speaking about it any way, shape or form. I have no doubt that he has a lot of fans that can push it to number one. But, in most cases nowadays, you need more than just your fans to debut with truly colossal numbers. I'm still divided on whether Taylor Swift accomplished it through fans or a huge push from the general public.
I'm just saying I feel like he would need some huge publicity and much higher public awareness to pull those numbers. But, who knows, maybe he has that many fans.

There is no way chris could have done this?
what if he's strongest supporters all bought the album today? exactly
it's not confirmed but it's looking really good, chris will outsell a lot of artists at the end of this week, just know that.
his first week will be better than nicki minaj, rihanna, bruno mars etc. etc.

I'm skeptical still about it being higher than Nicki Minaj. No doubts that he can outdo the rest.
We'll see.

Not saying the 250k number isn't true but if it isn't 375k will be really hard for Chris to beat.

Christopher is about to snatch Stefani's wig with the first version? Well as long as it doesn't pass S&M

I'm sorry but Jennifer Hudson deserves that #1 way more than Chris.
After reading that article on him today I just completely disgust him. Jennifer's family was never able to witness the success of her album or see her win a Grammy, and its her first album after her child, and she's one of the most genuine artists out there.
She really deserves that #1.

Gorl Britney's Circus did 220,000 first day and sold over 500k first week. If that 250k number IS true he's set for a 550-600k+ debut.

I think most of y'all don't know chris fans each bought 2 copies (maybe more) and they asked for seperate receipts! making it count as 2 sold albums. if 100.000 of his fans did that, it would already make 200k. we been planning this all along. and his support is huge, you should have been on twitter today, damn @ all the artist who supported him!!!

What does ANY of that have to do w/ public demand? I don't buy albums based on sympathy. Whoever sells the most records deserves to be #1.
