It's Rihanna's 5th album, she's way more established than Katy in the music industry. Katy is doing good for a sophomore album, Rihanna was not a impressive seller in the "Girl Like Me" era. 
Loud was released on Black Friday week anyway, she had advantage.

AGLM sold 1.3 mill.
Thats what Teenage Dream is looking up to sell.
And AGLM only had SOS & Unfaithful supporting it.
Break It Off was very short, and We Ride flopped.
Katy is about to have 3 #1 singles.
So no, Rihanna did better AGLM era than Teenage Dream

Why you won't compare TD to AGLM?  or OOTB to MOTS?
And before everyone start to talking about Katy's #1s... #1's =/= Albums Sales 
Rih is a entablished artist right now....Katy is barely in her sophomore album

Also BEP album. Of course their first week is terrible. "The Time" was just released weeks ago, it had horrible build-up, and is just now beginning to take off. As promo begins, word gets out they actually HAVE an album, and more..they'll have longevity. And chemist, they always have terrible reviews.

and it's not the material, or the artist, it's RCA. There was only 9. One we had for an entire year. Another that was a remix that sounded almost identical to the original. Of course we had "We R Who We R." but then someone decided to release 3 more songs before the album release. The album was also leaked BY RCA in advance  This is the crappiest album strategy I have seen in my life, and therefore they have just put Ke$has career in jeopardy. On top of releasing every god damn song on the album, RCA decided not to promote or release a music video. Like WTF? I've never know an album to be released without a music video to accompany it?
Bottom line is: I don't see this topping gold, and I don't see more than 2 more singles being released, if even that.
They need to release:
1.We R Who We R
2.The Harold Song
3.Grow A Pair
4.Blow
The Harold Song needs the **** to be promoted outta it, PUSHED HARD to HAC/AC and worldwide. This is the album seller, this is the track that will make Ke$ha develope as an artist.
Grow A Pear, albeit genric, will be a massive digital hit, and could possibly be the biggest song of next summer.
Blow is different, and very worldwide sounding:
With this EP they need her to become an established overseas artist.
I swear to god if they release "Sleazy" and "C U Next Tuesday" I am done ... RCA has possibly ruined Ke$has career.

^I'm not sure if "The Harold Song" will be the song to move sales for Cannibal considering there's no other songs like it on the EP. Well I mean it will help the album 'cause it would be a promoted single, but not a significant boost like you suggest. It definitely should be a single though.

Those are her final sales, they're useless since we don't know how much TD will sell. I bet its weekly updates were the same as the one's TD is having. Ok for sophomore albums.

I've never said the opposite. My point was that he was comparing LOUD (5th studio album+ released on the verge of black friday) with TD (2nd studio album+released on august). How can you compare them?
