Her voice is so smooth, it's amazing. My fave album from her is Not too late.
Fave songs overall "Be my somebody", "Sunrise", "I'll be thinking about you".
She is elegant and classy, yet vulnerable, her music seems to come directly from her soul, nothing about her is fabricated, she breathes innocence. Many reasons why I love her.

Christina was able to be successful because she was riding the teen pop wave. Plus, she had the vocal talent that her peers at that time didn't have. Then she started changing up her style, acting pretentious, etc., and the rest is history.

Christina ****ed up by not promoting and trying to do Gaga...we don't need two Lady Gaga's, one is more than enough. I never liked Christina anyway, I'm just analyzing her abysmal flop album she released this year. I don't see her coming back BIG ever again tbh...when I say BIG I mean I don't see her ever releasing a record that sells substantially high amounts of units.

Christina Aguilera's voice, beauty, talent, personality, cockiness, humbleness, and masterpieces she calls music make her 1 of the most successful artists of all time, and the best from this generation.
Christina was successful for the same reason Britney was successful. They both released their debut albums during a time when bubblegum teen pop was on the rise. Christina had great songs and an equally great voice. She was pretty and had a great personality.
She took a huge risk and leaped forward with Stripped . Sure, her dirty image wasn't initially well-received, but the album performed well and was critically acclaimed.
The problem with Christina today is that I don't believe that she's that nice girl anymore. I think she became incredibly selfish and self-centered. Back to Basics was a great album, but I believe she was too confident in thinking that people would believe it to be as great as she thought it was. It was a bold move, too bold enough for a pop artist. No matter what Christina thinks of the pop world, she is a part of that world.
Fans will likely disagree with me here, but I think Bionic is Christina's best effort. I just really love that album, and it should've done better. However, Christina simply takes too long in between albums. 2010 has a new breed of younger fans who want their Ke$has, Rihannas, and GaGas. Christina became outmoded because she's disassociated with this world, and trying to jump on the bandwagon in order to remain relevant didn't work.
Just because Christina has one album that flopped doesn't mean her career is over. I still view Christina as a successful artist, but she's going to have to find her musical niche and stick with it. Unfortunately, the casual music listener is not going to appreciate someone who can't choose a style. She also has to make herself personable to the new breed of teen fans who don't remember her past hits as well as those of us who are older.
For someone who releases albums every solar eclipse Christina has had her fare share of success from her first two albums, most of which some girls will never see. having said that she lacks the impact of say Britney or Beyonce to make it memorable & shes been on a decline since her debut which i feel is due to alot of things but the main reason is her not establishing a core audience by releasing albums more frequently.

Her last album was indeed not successful as her previous albums, but that doesn't take away she's really popular. She'll always be known. At least she didn't have to leak nude pictures or any other scandals to gain notoriety. I love her.

I think Hilary has all the makings to come back and have a successful recording career. Her singles have never been big but she has always had good album sales. It's kind of sad to see people write her off because Dignity underperformed on the charts. A big problem with her career is that her record label really didn't promote her the way they should have. They basically did all her promo in week and then didn't send Stranger for radio adds. I love her to death and stan for like no other.
