Instead of vicariously using Iggy as a platform of racism and harboring hatred towards her people are not clever enough to hate the machine. They hate the artist. I notice that the time, energy and effort is rarely focused on those that push this agenda but to those that use this agenda to make a career and fulfill their dreams
It's clear that she's influenced by urban music.
It's not some country guy or mid western person deciding to make a parody of the music.
URBAN artist and URBAN culture had no problem in the 2000s when urban artist were dominating (most with basic and cheap songs) because they "CROSSED OVER" to a wider audience that EMBRACED them.
Had no problem getting coins from the bigger arenas, sales and business...
But if a non urban artist is influenced by the music and wants to make a career from it then they are racist or ripping off a culture.
Urban artists don't get shaded for ripping off the majority when learning to make their career more business savvy and change their talents/looks/sounds/body and some trade their soul just to make more money to appeal as global as possible
It's such an interesting observation to make note of.
I love these kind of debates though
