There was no marketing for this. Rihanna mentioned NOTHING about Chris via social networking as hype. She almost sprung this upon the world with no notice.

ATRL has only been rife with CB discussion because of news leaked by her producers about a "shock". And it was all speculation until yesterday.

Clearly Rihanna has tried to keep this as low key as possible. He is on an extended remix of a fan favourite album track. It has zero pop appeal and is not even released to itunes. His track has already been sent to radio without Rihanna on it, barely anybody will hear it. Do you not see? IT IS NOTHING to the real world. Nobody really cares!

This is the OPPOSITE of a move to further her career. Your opinion is essentially a COMPLETE misunderstanding of her intentions here.

My point is she was low key about THIS. She has been talking about extending "Birthday Cake" for months with her fans, and then suddenly yesterday, she dropped the remix with Chris.
