Beyonce is. She's the only performer to date that has been out 12+ years and still has the vocal/ performance skills she had those 12 years ago, if not even better. Thats what a true performer is. Someone who perfects it without even trying.

Being "sooo close to michael jackson" is more than just performances sis. MJ wasn't just about performances. His videos, style, dancing, and his catalogue of music is what makes MJ, MJ. Beyonce only has one factor (performing). But she lacks the rest, which is why she isn't on MJ's level.

Beyonce and Michael are nothing alike. Beyonce is the carbon copy of Tina Turner with a dash of Diana Ross. The only resemblances to Michael is that they both started off in singing groups and their fathers were both diligent for success. Nobody is on the level of Michael Jackson and I dont think we will ever see anyone in the pop world who will surpass him. What I will give Bey is that her voice is incredible and Im sure she could outsing Michael if he was alive today since Michael's voice was a mess in adulthood and he barely sung live after Thriller era.

I agree with this actually. I think Beyonce might be the MJ of our generation, in the sense that she's the biggest, most iconic, most influential, etc, but still.. MJ's success was so massive, and it doesn't downplay Beyonce's at all, its just no one, and i mean no one, has seen that kind of success since MJ. It will be a while before we ever do.

Well I just want to get on the whole she lacks cultural impact bs yall are spewing. A) pretty much most of the people yall stan for here STAN for Beyonce. B) She has iconic music videos and dance moves attributed to her only .. Hence the single lady wave and the crazy in love bounce not to mention how extremely iconic both of those videos proved to be in time and still talked about and mentioned today. Also a famous catchphrase from Irreplaceable and bootylicious.. C) many record companies are looking for artists who can be the next beyonce or beyonce like.. From the dictionary to the queen, to the president and first lady, to blue ivy, female artist of the decade, artist of the millenium, etc.. all of yall can sit down with that lacks cultual impact bs. She wouldn't be considered "close" to MJ if she wasn't on another level! She has a respect in the industry that many people envy and will never see!
