That makes no sense.
Correlation =/= causation would be me saying that being gay makes you racist because I've sampled a gay population and many of them registered as racist. However, being gay and being racist would just be a correlation, but it does not mean that being gay MAKES you racist unless the data is significant.
In any case, the data in this experiment was tried as such, but I don't know if it's that you're simple minded or simply didn't read, but the study makes the report with a lot of "probably" and "This correlation strongly suggests" because in statistics, no matter how accurate your study is, you can never prove causation because you will never truly get a 100% correlation. That being said, statisticians and scientist use "probably" and "strongly" to basically confirm that correlation does equal causation, they just can't say it's for certain, because again, you will never get 100% of the data confirm your experiment.

How are there like 3 threads on this subject weekly and they all end up with over 100 posts?

Uh don't really agree with this like at all. Some people only are attracted to people of different races, does that make them racist to their own race? Just because you aren't attracted to a certain race does not make you racist.. eek.

Tbh I think it's weird when people say they don't find black people attractive. It's so easy to find a good looking black person.

No one said you had to feel attracted to them. The problem is the exclusion of them on profiles and social media like they're a ****ing condiment. "No pickles/No Onion". My personal problem is how you can easily say you don't feel attracted to black men, without actually having seen all black men. It's prejudiced.

I completely disagree. I think some people take too much offense themselves and rather create a racial issue from it when its certainly not always the case. Or any other issue, since theres also a lot of people who are very upfront on social media about not dating fat people, older/younger, etc. I do agree however that it may sound harsh.
As shallow as it may sound, I can believe a certain look (whether its black, white, asian, fat, skinny, whatever) can be a deal breaker for a lot of people. Just move on, they're not even worth your attention. You cant demand them to change their feelings or label them racists, just because they're filtering for whatever reason that may be. I think thats wrong as well.

I am black and I'm dating a white guy so that's nonsense. What makes you think minorities want desperately a 'white man' as if it is a gold medal in the olympics? How sad

I just feel like this narrative ignores the bigger picture at hand. Yeah, sure. We can ignore the fact that people would rather not date someone of a certain race, because that's just the "reality" and the "harshness" of life. Let's not bother to teach people why that's wrong, and why we should work to change that outlook.
Thankfully white people rarely run into this issue. You rarely ever see "no whites" on much of anything.

It is not racism to have a preference...
It is racist however, to refer to them with racist nicknames (no "rice" for example).
Surely having a racial preference is only the same as having a body type preference? A height preference? Personality preference? The list is endless. We should focus on real-world racism (the hate crimes that happen daily!), not some privileged twink on Grindr who says "no Asians please".

Its literally impossible to just change what you are attracted to. No matter how many times you tell someone what an awful racist they are for what they like or don't like, their attraction isn't going to change. There is just no point to this type of dialogue because no matter what points you prove and what facts are given you can't make someone be attracted to anything.
-
I see so many people on here saying they would never date transgendered, bisexual, etc. and how they feel guilty about being closed minded in that area but we don't categorize them as transphobic or biphobic, I don't see the difference from that situation to this one yet everyone is quick to holler racists.

NO IT'S NOT!
First of all Wouldn't it help you to easily avoid people who have that mindset? why would you want to be with someone who is not attracted to peole of your race?
Second, why isn't this also discussed from the perspective of other minorities and the preference between different minorities???
