I assume 'SexyBack' is soul too since Blurred Lines is its little retarded misogynistic brother.
first of all don't use the word retarded unless you mean slow physically or mentally. it's a word that shouldn't be used as an insult either.
anyway is misogynistic really the proper term to ridicule this song when there are just as many of those kinds of songs even on FutureSex/LoveSounds? please.

This song is waaaaaaay misogynistic.. It disgusts me.. but suit & tie for example is also pretty misogynistic.. so he really shouldn't talk about misogyny when it comes to JT

oh no of course it is, i can sense some of it in the lyrics. but yeah it's not like JT has his fair share, these past two albums have proven that. i'm saying it's like a double standard, if that's the reason he's choosing to dislike this song than a good chunk of JT's discography must irk him

The constant lyrics referring to himself as "daddy" and a woman as 'little girl'
The jealousy isn't even funny. Robin would have never scored his first hit if Justin hadn't made Pharrell mainstream over a decade ago or given T.I. his first #1 hit or single-handedly brought R&B back. I swear, one-hit-wonders these days.
He was such a jerk to that adorable interviewer btw.

Ok, all of this is a reach. Both guys made it big before Justin and R&B had been coming back before 'The 20/20 Experience'.
JT didn't make Pharrell mainstream and who ever says so clearly has no clue as of his production history. Jay Z brought him to mainstream with Roc La Familia, followed by Brit and Busta Rhymes. Justin followed. Robin has always been there, making the kind of music Justin started doing in 2003, he didn't say anything bad or wrong, though he was kind of shady which is understandable.....
