USA need to get their citizens and protest against Trump in one place like what Filipinos did to the Marcoses.

For people saying its not going to change anything. Need to stop. These people have EVERY right to protest what they believe isn't right in their eyes, it's called freedom of speech. The right of freedom of speech and the right to protest are crucial in a democracy.
Keep strong and stay safe America.

Y'all keep turning this into 'Well he's already won, so maybe you should just come together with him and his supporters if you really want the change otherwise it's going to continue to be a disaster'.
How about HIM winning, and having a nation full of opposers bigger than any other previous winner tells him THAT he needs to stop the buffoonery he used to draw in his side and actually attempt to put this nation together and work as a person who cares about every individual in this country and them being protected with equal rights if he wants to get far in the office.
I'm sick of it. As someone gay, as someone black, I've heard enough of the whole "just show them love and support, and then they'll learn to return it" BS when this mess keeps happening. We calm down and forget, then they make a fool of us again. They aren't gonna try to make a mends until they see they NEED to in order to move forward, and can't keep walking on us.

Just because it won't "change anything" doesn't mean we shouldn't use the AMERICAN RIGHT to voice our opinion on the outcome of a government election. This is the same freedom the people generations before us fought for to begin with, to be able to have free speech regarding the government and to openly criticize the leaders. Sit down somewhere.

That's not the point, niece. What we're saying is if they wanted to change something they should have put their money where their mouth is and VOTED to avoid this outcome.
And you say it's free speech, I say it's just being a petty sore loser. It's just as bad as the Romney and McCain supporters who said Obama "wasn't their president". He was everyone's President and Trump will be as well.

Who cares. White people don't even vote or convince their conservative relatives to get with the times or get left behind.

I was in the one in Manhattan a few hours ago. We went up from Union Square to the Trump Tower. It was fun, peaceful. the mood here throughout the day was sooo weirdly somber and quiet and I think everyone protesting got some catharsis out of it for what it's worth We blocked some traffic but there were lots people who rolled down their windows to cheer us on, honked for us, a guy in a oil rig tooted his horn, a little old hispanic lady in scrubs was jumping up and down on the sidewalk watching us :') Great city

This would have happened even if she had won. This country is so divided.

Well for one, the votes did side in Hillary's favor with her having the most votes so?? People should indeed be protesting that they did vote, and their vote came out on top, and yet they didn't get victory.

I voted. I'm white. If I had any conservative relatives, they wouldn't be convinced or swayed. They would be ignorant stubborn idiots. It's not that simple.

Fair enough, but what would you think if Trump supporters rallied like this against Hillary? Do you think Hillary would be willing to change her stance on certain issues to please Trump's supporters? Would you want her to?
My point is the roles are reversed. Maybe the protest will do some type good (I don't see it, as I'm sure Trump already prepared for this, as Hillary would have had she won) but anything is possible. I think Liberals missed out on great opportunity to show what supposedly separates them from conservatives. Right now they're proving that they're no different.

No, because that was well understood that the popular vote doesn't decide elections and never has. If you want to protest against and system, you fight legislation. It's petty for you to decide to suddenly have an issue with it when it doesn't go your way. She lost fairly and according to the Constitution. And truthfully these people would still be protesting even if she lost the popular vote anyway lol.

It has been wrong ever since technology has appeared. Its no longer needed for its original purpose. Instead its a way to ensure republican areas are over represented. Let them protest and stfu.

You can voice your opinion through protest AND fight legislation. They are not mutually exclusive.
