Gaga, well, the NAME Lady Gaga reached EVERY place in the world, when you take a look at her early success it's not hard to imagine WHY she declined this hard throughout 2 albums, she's DOESN'T fit the pop artists right now, the hot or pretty ones that don't do anything that could piss people off, so it's not surprise, i dunno if she can recover because she COULD if she changes what she is, but still won't change the fact that for a time she molded her own generation of pop girls and transformed the media into the ultimate place for pop media promo
Rihanna, she's really gettin' there, slowly but gettin there, she's hot, she has a signature voice and sound, she has a wide variety of hits that experiment an amount of changes that's definitevely a trademark, she just needs that acclaim, but she's also possible
Katy, well, the amount of success she's having with her singles will definitevely put her somewhere, it's hard to imagine anyone who by the time her 5th album era ends might have over 20 number ones being a "forgotten" but the quality of the music and the quality of the performer might hurt her, it's not something either michael or madonna suffered from
Britney, she doesn't seem to want to become a legend, she seems pretty happy with her live and i applaud that, anyway let's be honest, she was a manufactured phenomenon, the girl doesn't have musical talent, she can't sing, she can't write and the only talent that she really had was stage prescense and she lost that over the years, doesn't change the fact that she'll be remembered as a nice and beautiful icon

Out of the poll, the only one that might not be is Gaga, who may be seen as just a fad and even thats pretty unlikely, since she's already made her impact in the pop world. The rest have managed to have excellent commercial success for 5+ years.
Who I know won't: Selena, Demi, Avril, Carly, Ciara, pretty much every other Disney girl besides Miley.

Katy Perry, Taylor Swift & Beyonce.
Katy Perry is geared too much towards disposable pop.
Taylor Swift is a country artist & not many make "legend" status.
Beyonce broke up one of the best selling girl groups. Her work with Destiny's Child >>>>> Solo.
Britney is already a legend. Stay panini pressed if you think otherwise. Rihanna is already an ICON & will graduate to legend status once she gets the most #1's on the Hot 100 (she will get it btw). And Lady Gaga has turned pop music into an art form & will be remembered forever for her catchy hits & off the wall style.

Beyonce already is a legend (including her work with DC)
Britney.. i guess is? she doesnt really care though and BJ kinda ruined her disc
Gaga.. was on the track to becoming one but if her career continues this way i dont see it.
Rihanna is nearly there, she has the looks, the style, the hits, the sales, the influence.. she has built her way and WILL get there soon.
Katy possibly
And taylor.. country music legend yes, pop music no.

Katy Perry has all her #1 singles but literally no one respects her as an artist. She'll be lucky to even be considered an iconic.
Britney - icon, possibly a legend.
Beyoncé - legend.
Lady Gaga - she's getting respect even now that she's underperforming, so definitely a legend.
Rihanna - definitely an icon, time will tell if she'll be considered a legend
Taylor Swift - lol

I think taylor wouldn't really be remembered after all is done. People saying gaga and britney need to take a seat!

Katy. The others besides Brit and Bey have some potential, but I still doubt it

I'm a bit confused, how exactly will Taylor be a legend? What exactly will she be remembered for? Does #1 albums and singles make someone a legend? Patti Smith is a legend and she cracked the top 40 once her entire career.
