I think yes, but it should only be used under extreme, extreme circumstances. That's where it gets difficult though, because everyone's idea of an extreme circumstance is different. In general, it shouldn't be used... but if using it is going to potentially save more lives than not using it, and what the person did was truly horrific, and they were 100% definitely the one who did it... I guess it's what's best for the people.

Just put them behind bars for the rest of their lives, they'll suffer that way more anyway.

They should use it only for serious crimes:

Treason, rape, murder, aggravated assault, counterfeiting, road rage, desertion, drug dealing, theft over $5000, etc.



They shouldn't be executing people for stealing shirts and that kind of stuff.
