Only 12 pages for this "massive underperformance"?
But why when its a major pop girl, its crucified for more than 50+ pages at least
Hmmmmm ATRL.

Not a underperformance, a F-L-O-P. He's coming from a huge era, had one of the biggest (if not the biggest?) hits of the decade, it's his comeback after 4 years, performed at the Superbowl twice , 24k Tragic is a cute hit rn and yet he's struggling to do 150k SPS?
Lord, even Gaga who was coming from a flop era + backlash, PI being a huge flop, and with minimal promo until the album release week was able to do 200k
If anyone told me how things would turn out i would laugh.
The album is terrible and he'll be lucky if he scores more hits and have some longevity. But still, in 2016 after everything, he should be able to do 200k+ pure sales easily based on his name alone. And don't tell me "but he never had huge debuts!!!11!!!1". One would expect him to be far bigger today than he was in 2010 and 2012.

who cares about this tbh when Gaga is struggling to sell 7k physical copies on her 4th week.
First weeks have become irrelevant to define the success or flop of an era.

Shut up, gay.
His ass clearly ain't stomping on anyone but his own bombing career. Keep your displaced anger in check.

Yeah because first week sales determines the longevity & totality sales of an album right?

But anyways, Bruno is cool and obviously talented and definitely a household name, so I'm shocked to see these numbers. This is absolutely tragic. I hope these predictions go up once the promo kicks in.

people saying he will have longevity base on just 2 albums
Its easier to have longevity during early years of career, he is not Rihanna who has shown longevity for more than just 2 albums.
When its come to longevity it can go either way, but debut numbers are not good

Horrible numbers for Bruno. He should have atleast had Gag's #'s .. she did 200k with a single that bombed. Shows the difference in their fan bases
VOTF is a good song and I liked 24k Magic, but the rest of the album isn't very good.

This keeps getting echoed by the alarmingly aggressive Bruno fans, but y'all are completely ignoring context and circumstance. Yes he's never done huge first week numbers, but he should have increased despite any decline in climate. Yes his leads don't smash out the gate, but 24k has clearly failed to make an impact - whilst LOOH was turning around early in its chart life (me being one of the very few who supported & thought it'd become a hit back then).
The last two albums were also actually kind of good. I'm all good with opinions and debates, but this one is underwhelming. There are "hits," as in songs structured enough for radio. But they're mediocre. Might perform just as well as the single is, but won't really be on anyone's radar aka failing to translate into one purchasing his whole CD. Which he should be doing easily by now when his contemporaries are having little issue.
