I just started watching Reply 1988 after neglecting it for so long. I'm on episode 5 now but i'm gonna drag it for as long as I can because I don't want it to end. Can I just say how INSANELY great this drama is? I had to face emotional rollercoasters every episode. It deals a lot with family relationships, internal conflicts etc. in much deeper level. And the fact that the setting goes way back compared to its other related shows makes the drama much more endearing. I can relate to most of the things they go through.
The casts are amazing too. They portray their characters well (especially the moms) - although the lead in this drama (Lee Hyeri) is a little bit of a stretch I'd say, nonetheless she's still good. The younger characters who stood out for me are Park Bo Gum, Ryu Hye-young, Ryu Jun-yeol.
I'd recommend y'all to watch it. I won't guarantee that most of you will like it though because you need to be able to relate to this drama so you can understand the whole thing. If you don't then, there's a huge chance you probably end up not liking it.
