The Bodyguard has sold close to 40 million copies while Music Box stands at 26 million... but we can look at it this way: The Bodyguard is a soundtrack and Music Box still is the best selling album by an R&B Artist (neglecting the fact that it's mostly POP)

someone posted the album's certifications... and it says 1x platinum for the UK.. which is way off the actual total. #1's actually sold 706,204 by january 2010.. It has probably shipped 800,000 copies there and should be double platinum at least... same for The Greatest Hits which sold 635,660 by July 2006 and has most likely outsold #1's by now.. GH sold at least 100k between 2007 and 2008 (it re-charted in those years).
