imo christmas songs belong on their own EPs or albums. like nobody wants to be bopping away to a song and then hear jingle bells. maybe its just my growing dislike of christmas music but i did not want a christmas song

Huh...I actually like the cover. It's simple, it's cheek, and Kelly looks amazing, so I have no issue with it. With the track list....I wished "Sober" was included or even "I Do Not Hook Up", but I'm excited for the three new tracks, we've heard one, hopefully the next two are epic!

Was Never Again a hit? I like it but I think I do Not Hook Up should replace it. Looking at this list is really eye opening to how many hits Kelly has though. I sang in my head a little part of every song as I went down the track list. I don't own a single Kelly Clarkson album, I only listen to her singles, and I knew almost every song on there.Apparently the ones at the end are new so that explains why I don't know them.

and is 100x better then IDNHU

Even IDNHU was a good song, but NA was a bigger hit and was in top 10 too. But if they remove NA from the track list, then there would be NO song from My December and it would be weird to not have one song from one album on her list.

Looking at his discography tho, he seems like more of a "legend" artist as in he's respected but hasn't had a big hit in quite a few years.

But he was a LEGEND like you said. Even though he hasn't created hits lately, but he's still a respected country singer. Kelly Clarkson will make this a HIT kinda like DYWS and singing with the legend will help gather country audience and older audience.

Plus she is performing it at CMA, so hopefully that will increase the hype around the song.. But all we can do is wait and see

Well Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher, etc are considered legends yet they can't score hit singles these days. Although Pop is obviously a more age-centered format than country but I don't know many country artists so.

I mean I think it'll be a good song and I think Kelly's voice sounds great on country songs, I'm just not sure it'll be a hit but oh well I don't really care since it's just a GH collection song. And sorry sis I love Kelly but she did not "make" DYWS a hit. Jason Aldean is huge in country.
