Because Of Love is one of the more poppier leaning songs off of janet.

Its surprisingly never really made much of an impact on me although I did still find it enjoyable. I gave it an 8 which was pretty similar to most voters who tended towards the 6-8 range.

Written by Bjork, its haunting trip-hop inspired production makes it seem appealing and yet I can't find myself to get used to it. It does stand out as a little unusual compared to the predominately sweet, loving songs of the album.

And yet that "lets get unconscious honey" lyric stands out as one of her most sensual moments from the album (in a weird way..)

In yet another non-explainable move from the voters one of Madonna's best ballads gets eliminated well before it should have.

Forbidden Love combines Madonna with Babyface in a beautiful R&B ballad that stands out on the album. Its honest, open and quite innovative as Madonna deals with subject matter that was seen as taboo for the times

Its also just a damn good ballad and ranks among her best. But of course, I can't have nice things...

I love "Bedtime Stories." It's such a cool song.

At the same time, that might be what holds it back. It's all about the soundscape, with little emotional substance, so I think it's hard to fully get into just sitting there listening. It almost needs to be physically experienced.

Yes, album tracks as a whole were paid dust.

Now, it looks bad at the moment but Janet's songs will even out by the top ten.

The absolute Janet dominance. Surely she had a couple more tracks that could have gone sooner.

I took yet another listen to "Because of Love" and liked it a bit more, but it still just feels...lightweight, even for a fun little pop song.
