*Pollstar 2010 Mid-Year report were basically all the S.A. shows, which were counted technically in the Billboard mid-year report.
The 170 million is throwing people off a little, but I think that number comes also from tour merchandise which a lot of people don't take that into consideration when looking at the number. Also, there is no way the Las Vegas dates grossed like 60 million or something because just from the regular dates the tour grossed like 110 million from ticket sales. While the tickets were thousands of dollars for the Vegas shows and the hotel was super expensive, that still wouldn't add up to million dollar double-digit figures.
Why people who's fav hasn't grossed 100 million on a tour are trying to shade Bey is beyond me?Clearly, the I Am...World Tour was the most successful tour ever by not just a female R&B artist, but an R&B act period. Tina came close, but Beyonce gave her all she wanted and more. Highest grossing tour by a black female and the highest grossing tour ever by an R&B act. Not to mention one of the Top 30 Highest Grossing Tours of all time, if my estimations are correct. Bey did the D*amn thing! END OF DISCUSSION!
As for the picture, the show was SOLD OUT with over 50,000 in attendance. FACT! Check the youtube videos and the Billboard box office scores for proof. The photo was just huge mistake on the part of the graphics designer not Beyonce. Y'all exaggerate things too much here.
