ohmygod. I've just wiki'ed both coldplay and drake last album first week sales and its insane.cold play sold 300k in the first week while drake sold 447k in the first week. I guess we have no choice but to settle for a #3.
BUT on the plus side. We have a very similar album to Breakaway. It will debut at 3 as did Breakaway. Both are single words that are awesome. Both were released Q4 release. Sooo we could have another Breakaway album on our hands I am sure they would have rather it placed 3rd knowing there are a ton of radio hits and the album would sell rather then a Q2 release to get the number 1 spot where the compition isnt much

NO, because I wanted a pure real album not album pop snoozefest, first Christina of RCA and now it's Kelly's turn. RCA need to learn that kelly is not meant for pop/electro snoozefests. Because Esten Deans writing is terrible and shes pop cake and Kelly said she wanted to make a personal album

But Ester only has a co-write to one song (that we know of) which is Mr. Know It All, which she co-wrote with a more country-based songwriter. It's not like she wrote the whole album for Kelly.

I wouldn't be too worried. I think the producers are more important than the writers tbh. Since Brian Kennedy co-wrote and produced it, I would think the song will be more his vision.

Brian Kennedy, no. He's kinda a more urban, hip/hop, r&b, pop guy. Remember we already posted his list of productions in the other thread. Brett James (one of the co-writers) is more of a country songwriter. However, this was produced by Kennedy and a newcomer named Dante Jones.
Yeah I wasn't a fan of Pia's song and I pray it's not that bad, lol. Sorry Pia fans. It was also co-produced by an upcoming producer named Dante Jones. So lets see what he brought to the table.
And lets not forget that Kelly's not a silent puppet. She's always been vocal on how she wants her music to be. She told Luke and Claude Kelly to rewrite MLWSWY, since she didn't like the original lyrics. And she also was the one to higher SUBG by a whole octave. She may not have written it, but it will have Kelly's touch.
