I see 1d fans are still in denial with their decline. They sold 145k on the UK their 2nd lowest album after their debut. From 230K+ last year to 145k they are declining. That is what overexposure does. Queen Taylor still slaying.

If Ed who is bigger than them in the UK couldn't hit the 200k mark why would they. It's still the third biggest debut. No one is denying they've declined it was INEVITABLE. It's just not a massive decline like ATRL would like to make it seem considering the decline in the music industry itself. It's like all that it taken out of the mix as if they're taylor swift and won't get affected.

1D are in decline, but the extent of that decline is blurred by the even faster decline in album sales. Relative to the current state of the industry, 1D are still one of the biggest acts around. Deny as much as you want, that won't make it any less true.

1D are actually quite a good metric to gauge the market. They released Midnight Memories at the pretty much the same time last year, so we can see how they have done and the market has done in just 1 year. With other acts, they tend to release at longer intervals or more irregular intervals (as opposed to exactly 12 months).
Anyway, pointless to ague about actual numbers and %drops until Billboard publish the actual official figures.

!
And their last album was released the same week as Black Friday. Between that and the huge drop in record sales this year, it makes them look a lot "worse" off than they actually are.

1D's numbers are more than fine. Why does this site always want to call everyone "flops"? It's like they enjoy it. So pathetic.
