Because her single can't sell more than 20k in her first week and urban radio is not eating up her songs like they used to did in the past. She isn't big like in the Goodies era and The evolution era.
Her fanbase is good but not amazing.

I agree. Yeah, the stans can throw every excuse out there, but she isn't Ciara from 2004. She's just, Ciara.
"Urban" artist or not, she's not succeeding in any department. OKAY, we all get it. You can go into your History books and pull out past stats, but where was her "urban fanbase" with "Go Girl" & now "Never Ever"? "NE" isn't going anywhere on Urban, at least not enough to say she is strong there. "GG" didn't go anywhere either, again not enough to claim she's a bona fide R&B/Urban superstar.
I stress the 'urban' because regardless of what audience she's pointing at, they always want others to grab on. They waited for "GG" to blow up on Pop, and when it didn't and the set formats also didn't move a brick, they bailed. Came back with "NE", and now they are waiting on it to magically go somewhere. And again, we can guess and predict what would/would've been better lead, but let's talk PRESENT for once in this damn thread, and presently she is nothing! Point blank. That's the only thing she is uncomparable with, other chicks who are doing it right now.

Sis, the length isn't the problem. The problem is they're going nowhere with it. People ain't gonna change their opinion, no matter HOW much somebody types. Nice try though. I'll give a half of a half of a half of a half of a half of a point for that.

Oh, I'm done with it. If you can't see how much of a mess her career is, then so be it. Just keep creamin' over the new Bubbling Under star.

Because...you were tyring to imply "The Evolution" killed her career and it didn't. The consistency of her hits show there's something totally wrong here, but let's not get crazy, "Go Girl" reached Top 20 at Urban Mainstream and Top 30 at Rhythmic without a push, if she was the "flop" you're trying to make her, they would have shoved that song right back down the drain before it hit Top 50 on any format. Her label is the blame here, I will continue to stress that.
