I just think it should have not been as hyped as it was. In my opinion, bad idea to have her open for the awards since it adds pressure to her and adds to the hype. Comebacks are usually hard and one does either extremely well or horrible. I just do not think she was ready. It looks like even she realized that when she stopped even trying to lip-sync.

Her "thing of the boot" looked fine, so I highly doubt that was it. In fact, she seemed to move the same way throughout the performance. It is the fact that she did not even try to move her mouth at the right times or even get more interactive than just emphasizing her body that makes this performance not worthwhile. If she was one of the cut performances in the middle of the awards and her performance was not as hyped, I think she might have done a little better.
