| Carly Rae Jepsen - E•MO•TION
I consider this to be the best pop album of 2015. It's honestly the Bible in audio form, and it's in no ways overrated on ATRL. In Italy only the standard edition was released, but my friend accidentally bought two deluxe editions online and gave one to me!

| Lana Del Rey - Born to Die: The Paradise Edition
I already owned Born to Die, but only the standard edition, and the best songs are the deluxe ones so I took advantage from this fact and got the entire re-release.
Favorite: Blue Velvet

| Lana Del Rey - Honeymoon
After hearing the title track, I thought this would be another boring album with faux deep lyrics, but instead she surprised me when she served us a record that's slightly more exciting than Ultraboring.

| Baby K - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
This is the second album by the Italian female rapper Baby K, featuring the biggest Italian hit of the year, "Roma - Bangkok", which is nothing original if we compre it to the European music but which is definitely new in the Italian panorama.
Favorite: Roma - Bangkok

| Sia - We Are Born
This album kinda marks Sia's shift to pop music. It's not as good as 1000 Forms of Fear, which I consider a masterpiece, but it's definitely a great taste of pre-fame Sia.
Favorite: The Fight

| Selena Gomez - Revival
After dragging Selena to the pits for months and months, of course, I bought her album, which turned out to be filled with filler, but overall extremely enjoyable. Her music might be extremely generic, but that doesn't mean it's bad.

| Demi Lovato - Confident
I spent €27 for the deluxe edition of this album and at the beginning I was furious. I could only find 3-4 songs I liked! But after a couple months, I started appreciating (almost) every song. The only two that I still don't like are "Stone Cold" and "Mr. Hughes", but who knows! This album is a huge grower!
Favorite: Father
Least favorite: Stone Cold |
| Mariah Carey - Glitter
I had already bought a copy of Glitter last year, but I eventually gave it to my friend, so I got myself another one.
Favorite: Never Too Far

| Björk - Debut
I never thought I would get into her music, but her debut album made me fall in love with her. Plus her 90s albums were discounted to €5.90! I still need to check out her more recent discography, though.
Favorite: There's More to Life Than This
Least favorite: Crying |
| Björk - Post
It's similar to her debut, and it only made me like her even more.
Favorite: You've Been Flirting Again
Least favorite: Isobel |
| Björk - Homogenic
The sound is a bit of a departure from her first two albums. The lyrics and the sound are both more mature.
Favorite: All Is Full of Love
Least favorite: Alarm Call |
| Friderika Bayer - Friderika
This 1994 album is basically Hungarian acoustic pop with a lot of religious references. It's extremely rare to find it on CD, so I can consider myself lucky.
Favorite: Kinek mondjam el vétkeimet?
Least favorite: Ez jó lesz... |
| Danijela Martinović - To malo ljubavi
Danijela, along with Doris and Maja, completes my 90s Croatian music trinity. She's the one with the most traditional Balkan-oriented music, despite having an extremely pop voice.
Favorite: Neka mi ne svane
Least favorite: Čekala sam kao žena |
| Selma Björnsdóttir - I Am
Selma is an Icelandic artist with a lot of energy and positivity to share. "All Out of Luck", her 1999 Eurovision entry which arrived 2nd, is one of the gayest songs ever.
Favorite: All Out of Luck

| Alsou - Alsou
In 2000, aged 16, Alsou placed 2nd in the Eurovision Song Contest. She's the daughter of a Russian billionaire, owner of an oil company, of a soccer team, and member of the Russian Parliament, but she writes her own songs and is extremely talented. This 2001 album, fully sung in English, was supposed to make her the new Britney Spears, but she just didn't want to: she said that she was "famous enough in Russia and in the ex-URSS countries" and that was enough for her. After all, her 1999 debut album and this one each sold over one million copies in the ex-URSS countries alone.
Favorite: Not Over Yet

| Tea Hiilloste - Tytöt tykkää
Tea is a Finnish one-hit wonder who has to her name one of the best-selling singles of all time in her home country. She debuted in 2007 and she can be considered the original Iggy Azalea: she is, in fact, a white, blonde and pale hip hop and rap artist. The only difference is that her hit was solo.
