Stay smashed way before All of Me and Let It Go did. It paved the way for the success of these songs. The only piano ballad that became a hit before Stay did was Someone Like You. Just because ONE song smashed doesn't make it a safe choice. And don't even try to talk about "safe" when Katy is part of the discussion.
Ow interesting to see BEYONCÉ sold more than both with much less radio support and singles sales
