I'm Asian, and I know we asian folks are SO CHEAP, so I always beg the hostesses not to seat any asians in my section.
Example - Japanese, Taiwanese, and Arab people don't tip at all. Because in THEIR culture, they do not tip. In Japan, if you go to a restaurant, you eat and you don't tip. It's normal. However, it's not normal here in Canada. My Japanese co-workers were shocked to find out if you don't tip it makes the servers pissed, because 'they've been doing it all the time'.
I won't go to other races, but at my restaurant there are stereotypes on who doesn't tip - which is generally true. Not because it's their CULTURE, but because they're cheap. It's weird because I'll be talking to them the whole night, and they'll be joking around with me, and when they don't tip me, they will be like "Enjoy your night!!! Hope everythings good for you" I don't even say bye anymore. I just go to the next table.
