The 4 Era has been really messy single wise and in terms of how it was handled
however, the album itself IMO is her best & the year of 4 special was quite good. I'm usually bored w/ bey in interviews and such but she actually gave me some life in that special
don't report me for that beehive it wasn't shade it was just my opinion
Nope! The most memorable thing was her revealing to the world that she was pregnant, but that's not about the music. If the album wasn't snubbed at the Grammy's, perhaps. But it seems as though '4' will be forgotten. She's up against hits like Crazy In Love, Irreplaceable, and Single Ladies. Nothing from '4' is as memorable, and the critical support should have carried over to the Grammy's
Yes it was Iconic. Do I think it reached the level it could have? No. She did get the acclaim she was looking for though. It will definitely be remembered. However like the Pregnancy will overshadow it all. That was Huge and even if she did have a successful era that "Reveal" at the VAM's still woulda been all people would have remembered.
No. The only thing I'll remember from the 4 era is her pregnancy. That's all. She needs to get better single concepts and not release them so quickly. Lol @ timeless. Stop. Her only iconic solo pop moments were Crazy In Love, Irreplaceable & Single Ladies lbr.
Really no. If it was based just on the music, then it could have been, but it's almost impossible for an 'era' to not be defined by it's artwork, performances, music videos, sales etc. and it's even more impossible for someone like Bey to pull it off.
