He still sold quite a good amount of copies despite those songs being available on his site for free. That makes it more impressive. Ariana's followers can't stop giving her credit for his success because Love Me Harder was nothing but a quick little hit. Back on topic, I still think Abel could go above 500k.

That's even more embarrassing for the other pop girls because at 558k in the US, he still outsold Lotus/Britney Jean except he only offered 3 new tracks. When High for This/Wicked Games charted, you could still download all his mixtapes for free off his website (including those two songs). That he managed to outsell major pop acts and go platinum on mixtapes that were available for FREE for over a year is extremely noteworthy.

actually it's a triple disc so he went platinum at 350k sold.
