I don't consider there to be a way to act like any "race", but it would be foolish to pretend that people don't associate positive traits with whiteness and negative traits with other minorities. For instance Ebonics is always being attacked and is considered an uneducated manner of speaking, when all it is, is just a linguistic way of speaking passed down from generations. It is always implied if Black people were to get rid of their cultural norms and assimilate to White cultural norms they'd be better off.

That's what people mean when they say they "don't see color".

You guys keep screaming "systemic racism!" "systemic racism!" but change MUST come from the individuals first. You can't change systemic racism first and the individual racism second. You guys have to change individual thoughts first to improve the system. By being condescending and rude to other races does not help promote equality.

This is really reading like you saying minorities are the reason for racism. And I HOPE that's not what you're implying.

It does not matter if we are peaceful (Civil Rights Movement) or if **** gets burned down to the ground (Rodney King, Ferguson) white people generally refuse to change things because it's the right thing to do but more so for political pressure to do so. Which is racism. It doesn't affect them so it doesn't matter. Minority groups don't have/hold that power.

It's just kind of weird that people think there is such thing as "reverse racism." Racism is just racism, no matter who it's directed at. I mean, you can try to mangle the word to fit your own agenda, but technically under the definition, anyone is capable of being racist.

If you want a word that signifies and symbolizes systematic oppression, then a new word should be invented. But you can't simply enter the dictionary and decide to change the meaning of a word. I agree with what these people are saying, but the debate over the word "racism" is taking away from the actual point that everyone is trying to use. Not everybody is on the same page, so create a new one. That way, it's a win-win.

And POC can be very ignorant/uneducated on racism and other issues relating to it. This is not to say that you shouldn't listen to someone of color when they talk about these issues, but just because you belong to a minority group does not make you an expert on oppression. So some need to stop with the condescending and abrasive attempts to "educate" others.

Reverse racism, along with the 'race card' and 'all lives matter' are made up by white people in response to the vocal minorites that make them feel uncomfortable. If minorities were silent and submissive on the issues then we'd never hear 'reverse racism.' In reality, no such this exists. A minority could call someone a cracker all day long and while that may be ignorant, it certainly has no impact. Life goes on and white people continue to reap the benefits of years of oppression.

Ignorant? That sounds like bullying to me. Bullying can drive some people to suicide. That type of behaviour should not be acceptable in our society, to people of ANY race.

There are funny "white people" jokes like you see in Family Guy which make you laugh, and that's fine, but constant name-calling all day long is bullying. SJWs should be against bullying, surely?

You're right that it would have no effect on wider society, but that kind of stuff can ruin someone's self-esteem, especially if they're a child when it happens.
