Ciara's recently released video, for the clubtastic song "Gimmie Dat," is more of a full-frontal dance attack than a mere viral clip. After her sensual, albeit dance-less video for the song "Speechless" premiered less than two weeks ago, perhaps Ciara was itching to bust a move. "I've been gone for too long / I think it's time I bring it back," she sings on "Gimmie Dat." In the song's super-sexy video, the hip-hop singer brings it -- and hard.
First she's showing off her insane flexibility in a parking lot, then she's dancing in a warehouse. Cue back-up dancers dressed as solidiers, a black light, rain water and Ciara lookalikes. "Gimmie Dat" is all over the place and in the best way possible.
I'm rooting for a Ciara vs. Beyonce dance-off -- and claiming that the two songstresses would fight to the death.
Ooh nice review from Billboard! I have a good feeling wit them backing it that should help it be a smash now we just have to see how radio will take it if her team gets their **** together.
