Bottomline is you said they were exaggerations, and questioned that a purposeful intent to hurt a student has ever been done in US by a teacher.

Many of them do match my scenario and this news story's current scenario because it was over some tiny ass refusal to follower a teacher's orders. & yes -- most of them (teachers) were punished, aren't working, and probably won't teach again. So if anything, isn't that just saying the cop should also be punished, not working, and probably not a cop ever again? If he killed someone unarmed for not following his orders.*

CORRECTION: A previous version of this story included an interview with a man claiming to have been at the scene of the shooting and friends with the deceased. As police have released statements saying the second person involved in the incident has fled the scene, the source is now suggesting he was never there.

Not necessarily, because a cop is within his/her rights to shoot as long as it's not fatal. If there is a video or details confirming that the shot was fatal, then that changes the situation.
