Apparently before the 1st film is even released, production of COA/COG has been confirmed to be starting in the fall. According to Kevin Zegers(Alec), who has started training for the back to back filming already.

Interesting. We'll see how this goes.

I think the director wants to give his attention to one movie at a time or they are waiting to see if COB makes money

i didnt think they were actually going to try and make it a film, but im so excited. i hope City Of Bones does good, i'll probably see it several times its opening week/weekend. Simon is my fave but im excited for Jace's personality in COB, i think its in the first movie where it shines the most cause around the third book and forth he kinda annoys me a bit

According to the director Jace will have gold eyes in the movie. So far he have gold eyes in the posters but he have blue eyes in the trailers
