Of course there are going to be ballads in this album, even Artpop and Britney Jean have ballads. Do you guys think she's going to drop a new song weekly before the release date? Like she did with BA, Red, IKYWT and SOG.

Yes, but I don't think as many as Red had. I can see three promo singles being released every Monday in October up until the release date.

The deluxe edition on iTunes Canada shows only 15 tracks, but the Wikipedia page shows 19 and links to the iTunes in Mexico with 19 tracks.

The Target has 13 plus 3 bonus tracks plus 3 voice memos, so I'm thinking the Target edition will be the physical edition with all the bonuses.

I think SIO has the potential to become massive, so she better dont kill it with a second single. Either way, she´ll release some Pre-Order Promo Singles from here to the release date of the album. Maybe a second single in Mid-October or release week

With RED, we had Begin Again, but, like she said, this is a pop album, so obviously we won't have that country ballad, if her second pop single off RED was a bop (IKYWT), Will she go with another bop as the second pop single from 1989, or will she go with a pop ballad?! Either way, it's so exciting

Unless SIO deflates really fast there's no need for a single before the album's release. The countdown singles will do. That being said, I'm quite excited for the album; I loved the pop cuts in Red (and most of the country stuff too), but a whole pop album is a completely different thing.

I'm pretty sure that's an error. It should be 16. I think the voice memos are Target / her online store exclusive in US / Canada.

Looks like 19SL89 is on a 198Decline. It has moved from 1-3 on the US charts and 1-4 on the WW album charts. I hope it bounces back!
