Madonna's vid's only on the countdown cause of HYPE!!..If not that she overpromoted her latest album and changed her image(as usual), people wouldn't even know her video existed..LOL..TRL's the only program that actually plays that video regularly..

That's why I am voting for Aly and AJ and want them on the countdown more than Ashlee...Ashlee doesn't need TRL. TRL does nothing for Ashlee...but Aly and AJ are new and it does help them get exposure! Even when Ashlee was always at #1 her album was still losing sales. Ever since Aly and AJ got on TRL their sales have gone way up. Aly and AJ need this publicity and the fact that they will be performing Monday is more incentive for us to keep them on the countdown!!

You don't know that, but from past expeirence, pop songs haven't had a good run on the Trl run. If it does stay on it won't retire. I can see that. But the song is catchy. Like hey, if Britney can't even retire since Toxic came out, I highly doubt Shakira will since she hasn't had a video retired in a long time. Or wait, does she even have one. If I remember correctly, I think Whenever, Wherever retired, if not that, than close. So I don't think a battle between Kelly and Shakira is likely, maybe Ashlee vs. Shakira, lol. J/K. I love her new song, but I don't know if Trl will. Let's just hope she does battle for one.
