Why would FX not renew it? At its lowest point AHS still has 3x higher ratings than FX's #2 show

It should get renewed but since the ratings have been unpredictable so far (It dropped 45% between episodes 1 and 3) I think they're gonna wait another week or 2 to see if they stabilize .

When people say AHS is messy, too kitch, clichee or unrealistic, I disagree but I could see why.
But I'll never understand the people that say Hotel is boring.
It's so different from all the seasons, it has a nice plot, a great aesthetic and interesting characters. What do yall want more.

Actually, almost all shows will fall after the premiere, regardless of whether you're on a major network. See: almost all shows this season.

Though technically it's not the #2 show on cable. Unless you mean of scripted cable shows airing this fall.

This week it is the #2 drama of the week in 18-34 since Scandal's been faltering and Empire was off. Pretty impressive.

Devil's Night was a great episode. The dinner scene got me and my friends so interested in the murderers that we ended up googling about them for like 15 minutes

Nothing I said is wrong, but you seem to have conflated my statements together for some reason.

It is not the #2 show on cable because of football, Fear the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, for example. Which is why I said "unless you mean...this fall."

What the HELL is going on here with the negativity

Before episode 4 this season was praised to the high ****ing heavens and people were saying it was better than murder house/asylum ect. Now all the sudden after one episode you didn't like, it's a bad season with terrible writing?? Talk about bandwagoning

I just read on the IMDB message board that Zachary Quinto had a feud with Ryan Murphy. That explains a lot why he never returned to AHS.

After Asylum had aired, Quinto broke up with his boyfriend at the time, Jonathan Groff, who was Murphy's friend. Reportedly not amicably. So Murphy took his friend's side and stopped cooperating with Quinto

I really don't want to judge because the first two episodes were so good but the latest two are average.
