This. Honestly, I personally don't care if she lip-synced (because I know that it wasn't likely her decision if that is case, and it doesn't reflect on her talent), but there's so much confusion going on that there needs to be some clarification. And the way the media is spinning this, it's as if it Beyoncé had the ultimate say in the matter, when we know that the National Anthem is regarded as sacred by most of the country, and using prerecorded vocals is usually recommended by event organizers to avoid catastrophic flubs (see: Xtina). People already have it out for her, the last thing they need is this controversy to question her authenticity.
