Maxx brought her up but you seem to be missing the.point. I never said rihanna doesn't do promo just that she didn't do as much as nicki did this era.

Rihanna never had a 10 month buildup starting with a promo single and 4 singles prior to album release.
Hell her annual release schedule made it challenging for her to even put out 4 singles fully each time

To compare that to rihanna is silly. She had one era where she literally was between tours where people didn't even think she would ha e time to release an album but cheers got cut short shortly after it hit top 10 and they proceeded forward with we found love.
Bringing up Rihanna's success in doing that is not valid.
It's not her fault she can get #1s and huge radio and 3-4m sellers.
Just think about all nicki did (she works hard and she did all she needed to do)...i certainly never felt like she needed to do more because she took practically every promo opportunity possible.
Most get that throughout the entire era yet we got it before album release
We are spoiled in that regard.
Unfortunately it just didn't translate they way we anticipated
