Oh and Katy really needs to work with M83, I mean the guy practically offered himself to her and I think they could make something good together.

Help me out: which Rhythmic stations and or pop started the DH trend first? And which station played IS?
If you guys can get this info today, I can find a conduit to get things rolling.

If I remember correctly, Indy was one of the earlier markets to really jump on the track. It was a sort of a regional radio hit there before nationwide.

i still love Prism, i think it's a very fun, happy album, but that's the truth. songs like Birthday, IS, TIHWD just are messy.
also, even though a lot of Prism is a really pretty album, it's a shame that she probably feels not so strongly about the album anymore now that apparently she has not-so-great feelings towards John :/

Yeah, something like this would've been perfect (I like smooth transitions...college DJ):

Yeah, something like this would've been perfect (I like smooth transitions...college DJ):
01. Legendary Lovers
02. Dark Horse
03. Choose Your Battles
04. Walking On Air
05. Roar
06. It Takes Two
07. Birthday
08. International Smile
09. Spiritual
10. Double Rainbow
11. By The Grace of God
12. Unconditionally (Remix - Hypothetically Prod by Stargate)
14. This Moment (Bonus)
15. Love Me (Bonus)
16. Ghost (Bonus)

Would be ever so grateful if you or anyone else could find the call letters for that station as well as the one that tried to play "International Smile" when "Birthday" went for adds.

Plus, radio still loves it. After TIHWD's short life (and even as soon as it was announced as a single, at least in LA, NYC, and Kansas City), depending on the week, "Birthday," "Teenage Dream," "Hot N' Cold,"or "Roar" went back into rotation like they were regular singles--by that time people were probably/finally burnt out on "Dark Horse."

Not here. The first time I've heard it since its run was today actually on AT40 and they played a three second clip because they were talking about songwriting inspirations for pop songs (they cited Mariah.)

The hot tea in here
I love our base
BUT, my personal opinion is that we should forget ITT. I mean, c'mon, do u think that this song could reach top15? It will be a second unconditionally. We got that part of PRISM. Legendary Lovers or Walking on Air should be the next single, if there's one. These two songs were from the beginning the hits that were ready to smash. I believe that LL is the strongest song remaining, it's fresh and the GP has already shown that loves it. Katy was in the studio, as her phhhotos show, I think we are definitely getting new music on the superbowl. She won't waste that. If Goldsoundz attempts it, I will help ofc but it's Katy's and Capitol's choice after all.

It's not about the charts
I'd kill for a ITT (or WOA) video or high-profile TV performances.
And you talk about Uncle as a single being a bad thing when she gave us her best video and was promoting everywhere That alone made it worthy.

Why do some people deny ITT's potential?

Smash potential: ITT > LL > WOA
My personal preference: LL > WOA = ITT
But mess at y'all thinking that like 10 forum members can make a single happen I think this era is over for now
