i'm guessing her not giving any info on anything is intentional. she's probably concerned about what her legacy will be in the music industry and acts accordingly for a new record (or at least i hope so).

I totally agree. I believe something is coming soon but I'm really doubtful about its quality. I wouldn't survive another love-sou-hate-you first single. That's why You and Me hit so hard back in the day, I wanna feel that excitement and happiness again, I was so shocked despite I expected the acoustic sound.

Right now I just want to know SOMETHING. At least a paparazzi photo of her leaving a studio, but everything is dead quiet. I wanna think that it's the calm before the storm, but it's just weird.

^ maybe she's already recorded a bit of stuff. i'm sure she has some ideas or wrote lyrics down, or is going through her old notebooks and diaries for inspiration. i guess with pretty much almost every pop girl doing something "outlandish" and creative musically in the pop world now and still being successful, it made her realize that she has to step up her game. she *was* a trendsetter and actually did sort of reinvent herself creatively with her music album after album and had her own sound -- and then her sound sounded much like the contemporary stuff that was released at the time by others and she was in a rut, her creative peak a couple of years behind her.

but that's just my guess on why she is being silent about her new music. maybe she's already recorded a whole new album, ready to be surprise released. who knows. i'm hoping she won't focus her album on how the supporting tour will be, like she did with TTAL. she needs to be selfish. she needs to record her album just for herself without any ulterior motives and just record and be free... no compromises, music is freedom. m!ss style.

Also, most of you don't seem to realize that "You + Me" is a big deal for a pop fan. 99% of pop stars will never do this kind of project, so what's wrong with her doing some generic Blow Me/ Raise Your Glass for her next album? Hasn't it been proved many times that millions of people actually want that kind of sound from her?
