Legacy: Being one of most intriguing, stand-out tracks on the album. Being what should have been the biggest single on the album, thwarted only by bad promotion and a cancelled video. The cancelled video itself. The cancelled video being a HUGE mess that we know the contents of, despite having only seen clips. Us still waiting for the video, knowing full-well it'll leak one day, just when...

Legacy: Being the ARTPOP lead single. It being the actually one of the biggest "grower" songs of Gaga's career. It being blocked from #1 by "Roar". It's surprising longevity regardless, alluding to the fact that it is only bad timing on Gaga's part that she was completely overshadowed by Katy Perry which set off a chain reaction of poorly executed events including a cancelled 2nd, single, a cancelled video for the new intended 2nd single and a 3rd single release and video far too late, and far too expensive, that completely and utterly flopped. The flawlessly executed VMA performance highlighting Gaga's return to the spotlight (also overshadowed by Miley). The GMA performance. The choreo being performed by some tween on the news which went semi-viral.

Yeah, I liked her three years ago when she came with I Follow Rivers(The Magician Remix). It was huge here. The rest of the album was ok, the next one was so so.
As for Sam Smith and Gaga - Gypsy live as a surprise performance would be nice.

Final Post
A huge thanks to all participants! It's quite a bit of work and time to host a rate, and I apologise for LITERALLY dragging it out over two weeks - but it's been a labour of love for an amazing, criminally underrated album until the very end (Grammy's snub in every way, shape and form  ). I even feel that Gaga, because of the endless outrage and judgement of its success, became a bit disillusioned with it, in fact not even "a bit" - she completely launched herself into a new era, and even genre, probably to distance herself from the negative energy and pretty much hate blasted upon her for eternally staying true to the artist she has always said she's been. So shine bright ARTPOP fans, the album may have not been a success by Gaga's previous standards - but I think any sane fan would still be able to rise above and see that this has been a phenomenal era.
We've had so many performances, a fantastic and intriguing tour, beautiful looks, stunning creations and easily the most interesting album concept in recent times. Yes it was overshadowed, but not exactly for all good reasons (eg. Katy's singles success, Miley's controversy, Bey's album drop). The facts are Gaga's career was never going to be able to sustain it's TFM/Born This Way success level - it was always going to drop. Maybe not quite to the "Has Gaga had a song since "Born This Way"?" levels it's at now, but rest assured - she's still in her 20's and now has more than ever to prove, and I expect we'll be rewarded by sticking by her. Even if she doesn't go on to huge success, we at least know her commitment to her art and as long as Gaga lives, she'll be working on something for her fans, her monsters.
