Beyoncé's bold performance steals Obama's inauguration show
Quote:
When Beyoncé floated onstage Monday to perform the national anthem, she couldn't have looked more at ease. Stunning in a long black gown with her blonde hair in waves, she had no fear removing her earpiece or planting a kiss on the POTUS's cheek.

Beyonce closed the inauguration with "The Star-Spangled Banner," and did so with a grace that transcended the anthem’s rocky lyrical construction and curious phrasing. She floated through the song as the cameras panned the crowd -- Obama staring into the distance as if he were modeling for Mt. Rushmore, his wife Michelle breaking into a little smile as Beyonce effortlessly hit her notes. Behind her former President Bill Clinton watched attentively.
When the anthem concluded, Beyonce smiled to the masses, walked past Vice President Joe Biden, who seemed to want to shake her hand. She missed it, though, as she had her sights on the president. After greeting him, Beyonce returned to her position with Jay-Z. The rapper gave the R&B singer a big hug as they stood on the inaugural stage, officially stamped into the American history books.

NAILED IT!
Beyonce Sings National Anthem At Obama's Inauguration
If there's a musical act "headlining" the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, it's Beyonce. The singer's performance of the National Anthem was a capstone to the official proceedings of the inauguration, and served as the marker between the events on the steps of the capitol and the inaugural parade down Pennsylvania Avenue.
Beyonce was hardly the only performer to make an impression over the weekend.

Beyoncé looked stunning, rounding out the performances, bringing down the house singing the National Anthem. Beyoncé, whose performance was saved for the end of the inaugural event (sparking a "Where's Beyoncé" Twitter trend), looked amazing in a stunning black dress.

It is still amazing to have a president who acknowledges that imperfection will be with us always even as he insists on action — and who invited Beyoncé to sing the national anthem at his inauguration. She absolutely hit it out of the park.
This version is way better than the one Beyonce uploaded....the audio, visuals, the shots were WAY better on this one.
Compare that with this....obviously the one above is MUCH better. The one Beyonce uploaded doesn't even sound right, and exaggerates the part where she fades away, at like 1:22.
She did the same with Roseland...WHY BEONCE WHY!!!!
