They need to find the right timing to release the song, look @ Christina's song, it's good, even great but the timing, bad as hell, Rude Boy is killin' the radios, unless it will start die in the next week, NMT will have a hard time gettin' to 1 with a song that is high on iTunes and got 130m+ AI, esp' when NMT is not ownin' radios with amazing updates.
I know alot of the things make a difference, like, how good the song is, radios, digital sales, hype, etc' etc'...
But, since we all know her song will sell 200k+ easily, timing is the key to get her another 1# single, which isn't that hard to do.
So for once, I'm happy to wait, as long as Jive will use the time currectly.

No, Xtina will hurt because it's a mediocre song. If it were a strong song, timing wouldn't be an issue. Britney can go #1 in any case, because her singles are usually very strong, hook-heavy, and she always has the hype. "Womanizer" went #1 during the T.I. "Whatever U Like" / "Live Your Life" domination. "3" had it easy, and "Gimme More" would have if it the VMA performance / music video didn't kill it.
"RB" is #1 with 126-130m airplay, but 160k-170k in downloads. All a Britney song would have to do is gain a couple weeks of airplay then open with 250k+ and would beat "RB".  "Womanizer" gained 23 million in one week, so yeah.
Britney doesn't need a timing plan.

Like I said, it won't be hard for her to do so but it would be nice for her to have a shoot @ 2 weeks @ top.

The perfect timing would give (guarantee) her at least 2 weeks at #1 in the U.S.
I hope they will set everything perfectly!
It doesn't need to be a #1 debut, they can wait maybe 2 weeks to get good airplay? "Womanizer" was a suer hyped up song and it was a addictive club banger, then it easily got 25 million AI (in a week), let's say her next single won't have same hype, 2 weeks could bring 30 million AI, with a great opening week (that she will have), the second week dropped could be held by AI, maintaining a #1....
but although we, the fans, like to criticize her label, they ****ing know what they are doing...

^Britney will never have a non-hyped first single. No matter what promo she doesn't do, it will be hyped. EVERY station will want to spin it.
