I'm safe in my speciality tbh. We have automation here since hospital technology keeps improving everyday but we, humans can't be replaced just yet.

Instead we do more important jobs in our field and we leave dumb things like dispensing medications and dose optimizations and calculations to machines.

Literally every clinical pharmacist I see rounding in the hospital has a calculator.

Funny how I always see middle/middle-upper class young people wanting Communism in Western countries. I guess they never picked a history book or even have some basic notions of Economics. Communism basically disencourages efficiency and innovation because of the lack of competitiveness. Why would I be an excellent worker if I'm not being properly rewarded for that? Besides that, humans aren't equal, we all have the natural tendency to deviate from each other culturally, so many small communities would eventually come up, sharing diverse values and world views, therefore threatening the stability of the bigger society.
The current setting of capitalism has many flaws (and will have more in the future with automatization and consequent rise of unemployement rates), but Communism is definitely not the answer.

The best societies we have today (and before you point out their flaws: I am aware they are not perfect) are those of Northern Europe, namely Scandinavia, Finland and the Netherlands. I think they believe in socialism. Socialism makes perfect sense to me and it IS the reason I can afford to attend a good college. I will be forever grateful to those ideas.

Scandinavian countires like Sweden are not socialist countries.
The production means are not owned by the government.
They have a capitalist economy with socialist leanings in the form of healthcare for example.

I saw this video of buzzfeed about black people asking questions for white people and it was as intelligent and well thought out as anything from buzzfeed is. But there was this one question about, why did they let them keep the bible if they didn't used to allow black people to learn to read and it kind of struck me. Do y'all think it was just a "My deity is better than yours, you have to worship it" moment, or was it to try and trick them to make it seem their pain and struggle justified or like it wasn't all in vain and part of gods plan.

The buzzfeed question videos are seriously among the dumbest videos on the Internet.
The worst one is the questions from women for men video. Also the one where Native Americans ask questions to white people. I recommend them if you are a fan of cringe like me

On a serious note though I have often thought about why the black community in America seems to be so heavily devoted to a religion that was used to enslave them.

Same reason why they peddled the image of Jesus as a white man (with sometimes blue eyes). To reinforce to the slaves their role in society by divine ordinance. That's the short history anyway.
