I don't think anything would have saved the era at this point. The album is more or less a grower, and every song would have had needed the time to do something.
I feel the UK is a lost cause in some way, since she will never get her radio support back and that means she will always have to rely on promo. That is really the problem at this point, since it's lacking the last few weeks, including this week.I still do not think On The Rocks is a bad song at all, but it is basically to me in some sense Try With Me 2.0. without the changing beat.

Also the album is not "flopping" because descisions they made single wise. It just shows that Nicole is more or less a singles artist and that she really would need promo and/or radio support to score a hit. Since let's be honest. Even with OTR flopping, the girl has had many chances to promote her album. Whether we talk about Muller or Missguided or even the OTR performances. The quality of the promo also has not been that amazing. She really targeted different audiences with all the performances so far.And without the radio support most people just came into contact with the song, the moment she performed it.
The hype around Nicole is much lower, and it's mainly from not capatlising on XFactor, which Boomerang actually perfectly did, but didn't got a continued era.Nicole disspears and comes back, which means she has to warm people up to her again. I mean we fans don't leave, but the general public replaces you with just one click.

We got the music, we are basically 3 singles into this era. The album is not so instant for the casual listener probably, the promo has been lacking in some way. All things that happened aren't suprising tbh and I am satisfied at this point. Ofcourse I want more, but I think this era is just really about herself, and her story.

I just hope she and her team are smart and will go into era #3 soon after this one ends, and not wait an other 3 years for an other album release.

I think releasing one album per year for a few years would help her to stay relevant. She also has to work with big producers and writers and get some big artist to do a collab with her.

Playing and replaying the album non-stop. It's soo goood. **** reviews, they're biased. I'm 100% sure that if Rihanna or Beyoncé released that album, it would have gotten perfect reviews.

Let's be honest - even if she wanted to do an Iggy/Nicki collab WHO SAYS that they'd want to work with her or the team of those girls? We can't say this and that because we don't know what's going on BTS. Just listen to Big Fat Lie's lyrics and there you'll have it. It all seems so easy to us but it's hell to her/her team sometimes.

Right now I really don't care about the album flopping, I have it on repeat and I LOVE IT so that's what matters to me atm. Yes, she gambled with her XF judging - should've released an album last year, she barely had any promo outside the UK anyway and with her being a judge on the show, the album/single would've went top 5 I AM 100% SURE. The reason why they scrapped it was "not enough time to promote" but I think there was much more to it cuz she herself said "my previous label DIDN'T WANT TO PUT THE ALBUM OUT".

So let's just sit, listen to BFL and wait for the US/UK performances of Run in the next month.

Nicole really needs to dish out those promos November/December as they promised and start full-on promos UK/USA. I always reference Nicole's contract, which is like $4.5 million, that is a big contract, Sony must have big things planned for her but I have no idea what the heck it is considering the mess.

Like a month ago I posted that we should be patient because I was certain we'd get promos by October. That was obviously not the case with the **** promos, at this point I really don't even know.

TL; DR Sony must have plans for Nicole, why else would they even sign her a big contract, we just don't know what the heck they're planning.

Really impressed with how good this album is!!!!!! Tricky & Dream really delivered!

Hopefully for America her singles go

1. "Run"
2. "Big Fat Lie"
3. "Girl with a Diamond Heart"

honestly, if "Run" becomes a big hit over here, the sky's the limit for future singles, because the album has so many! But I think it'd be best if she stayed away from the dance singles if "Run" hits big. Stick to the songs that show off her voice/personality.

"God Of War" is epic though! Probably my favorite, along "GWADH" and "Run".

UK were never here for anything urban, hence Kelly Rowland put out an international edition with Pop BOPS

Nicole is a new artist on SONY, so obvioustly they can't go all out on an era knowing her flop history

SONY is simply testing the water and learning from their mistakes

Nicole should have less freedom of decisions towards her music.

She should be a puppet and let the exercutives choose singles/album covers/single artworks
