Fiona is supreme so she has every witch power imaginable : Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Telepathy, resurgence, teleporting , Life draining etc
Madison: Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Telepathy
Zoe: Not really sure what to call her damn power
Deadly cooch syndrome? resurgence(maybe?)
Queenie: Human Vodoo doll, (possibly more if she keeps working under Laveau)
Nan: Clairvoyant(even though they use it wrong on this show )
Cordelia: Specializes in potions and botany , Seer/ 6th sense abilities.
Misty: Resurgence
Myrtle: Empathy and Teleportation
Marie: Necromancy, Telekinesis, Levitation and Other Voodoo powers/rituals(Basically the Black version of the Supreme)
Marie doesn't have any active powers, none of the voodoo girls do, but what they can do with Voodoo is extremely strong. That's why she pointed out to Queenie that her witch and Marie's Voodoo would make Queenie stronger.
I feel like Luke being the next supreme would be the only real twist and the only interesting choice.
Everyone else has been taking turns as potential supremes in the story, so the surprise would be long-spoiled. Zoe would be a boring choice, as would Nan who's clumsily being set up as the underdog. Queenie bridging Voodoo and witchcraft would be interesting, but it seems like a different thing to supreme-ness.
Maybe Luke's mother is a scorned ex-witch from the coven, or a normal bystander who's envious of others magic, returning for revenge of some sort...and in the process has been suppressing his powers. Bleach enemas, hardcore religion etc. is all trying to purge him. Might explain Nan's attraction to him, too. She recognises his supreme potential.
Plus, like others have pointed out - Cordelia's witch hunter ex husband shooting him/his mother instead of Nan seems suspect. He could have taken her out at any point - why wait till she's with others who aren't witches?
IDK. Maybe it's barking up the wrong tree, but the characters existence in the first place is implying that they will serve a purpose in the plot. Simply being a hot guy and religious mother to stir it up in a few early episodes seems unnecessary.
I barely started watching AHS this season and since is covered in ice here in Dallas and I can't go out for **** I went to blockbuster and they're closing it so all the movies are on sale.

A couple of things erking me so far
Are we supposed to accept that Zoe's transition from coward to "witch enough" just happened over night. I'm guessing she grew some balls after the chainsaw incident, but they didn't make that clear. They should have given her a monologue or something
When precious helped frame myrtl, why didn't she feel anything? Why didn't myrtle react? Wouldn't it burn?
I'm losing my patience with this Kyle story line tbh.
Usually in witchcraft they depict some sort of cycle of power/nature. You can't just bring somebody back to life and sacrife nothing in exchange . Aleast draw your power from a full moon or something. It's like witches govern the laws of the universe but it should be the over way round.
How can Kyle be a supreme? Pretty sure you have to be a female to be a witch? Or atleast gay
A lot of things on the show bug me. It's like Ryan Murphy made up his own rules about witchcraft, I mean he could've done a biT of research before making a show about witches.
And men can be witches too, but I don't know if this is the case in Coven.

How can you do research about witches when they're not real
It's not a factual programme he can make it up as he goes along because there's nothing to say it's wrong
