Queen Clefairy actually got the best things in the end, the superior movepool and the fact she was able to upstage even more by changing her typing. Pikachu only has Volt Tackle, but even Ash doesn't know ha anymore.
The 3DS Catridge is big enough to hold all the regions in full form. The space isn't an issue. The biggest issue for that would be how to pace the games. Unless Sun has 3 regions + the new one and Moon has 3 regions + the new one.
One thing about visiting all the regions, though. That would technically be remaking every series. It means that after Sun and Moon, Pokemon will have to start generating new content and won't be able to rely on remakes as buffers between generations.
But then again, the franchise is 20 years old and one of the most successful franchises in history. They have nothing left to prove.
