Honestly, Miranda and her songs slay
And I'm just glad Storyteller isn't filled with sappy inspirational/ faith based songs that I know she loves to do. Don't get me wrong, SITW, JTTW, & Temporary Home are some of her best songs, but, the other half of these faith oriented songs are just sappy and uninspired

On another note, I can see why you wouldn't want her to do Miranda lambert style songs. I wouldn't want that from Carrie either. Smoke Break did remind me a lot of ML, and especially of Automatic ngl, but, that's alright, they are friends and are in the same genre of music. However, I wasn't crazy about SB or Automatic, and I am beyond happy that NOTHING on the album sounds like either

SB did get stuck in my head at work ALOT though, and the video was hot, so atleast that's something positive from that.
I'm sorry y'all, but Storyteller>>>>>> BA. That's what I'm thinking right now. Ofcourse I will have to listen to the songs in full, but so far, I am loving all of Storyteller, whereas I only liked half of the BA album.
